We're pleased to announce the return "Kente & Culture" with Ghanaian master kente weaver, KWASI ASARE, here in the Rahway studio for an in-person kente workshop on Sunday, Aug 9, 2026!
Kwasi will share the history of this gorgeous textile, as well as his own family legacy as a master weaver. Then we'll experience the technique for ourselves, using miniature lap looms. Of course, he's bringing full cloths and kente accessories and gift items for purchase, too, so be sure to join us on SUNDAY, August 9!  Suitable for all skill levels, no weaving experience is necessary.  This event always SELLS OUT -- Don't miss it!
